Super States THIS WEEKEND

Tonight marks the start of Super States, Southern California's Scholastic Chess State Championship. Tonight is Bughouse. Evan opted out of Bughouse, but we will be there tomorrow bright and early for the CHAOS that is Super States! It is a fun and exciting tournament for kids. It can be a bit overwhelming for us chess parents. Evan is playing in the K-6 Chapionship section. He ranks somewhere in the middle. There are some really highly rated kids. We saw that there was a 2200 and quite a few 1800+ playing. Hopefully this helps Evan since he seems to do better playing up.
