Chessboxing

I attended my very first Chessboxing match last night. It was a lot of fun. I met some interesting people. None of which were boxers or chess players. Most people attending knew someone who was fighting or had heard about it through facebook and wanted to check it out.

It was quite the media frenzy. A reporter from Sports Illustrated was there and Vice was filming a documentary on how Extreme Athletes train.

I only had time to stay for the first few rounds. Here are a few photos.
